Sweet Corn and Other Summer Produce
The market on Double Stink Hog Farm
typically opened in the summer when our first patch of sweet corn is
ready. this usually occurred around July 4th. However,
please note that the weather may make this date a little earlier or a
bit later.
We sold yellow,
white
and bicolor corn.
We had many repeat
customers who refused to eat any other corn.
In
addition to our sweet corn you could also find other produce such as
tomatoes, squash, green beans, potatoes, cantaloupe, watermelons, and
many others.
Sweet Corn Update:
Sweet corn will
be available July 4, 2003.
Note: To be quite honest,
we're just trying to survive pumpkin season but you can rest-assured
that come April we'll be planting the corn you've come to know and
love! Be sure to check back here and we'll let you know when the
corn will be ready.
